Gear Up for Submission -- 5 Hours Until the Deadline!
Hey There!
We hope you've been making excellent progress on your projects and are excited about the incredible work you've been doing during this hackathon! We want to remind you that the submission deadline is in just about 5 hours: October 1st at 11:45 PM IST. Here are some last-minute tips to help you make the most of your remaining time:
- Focus on making sure your project is functional and can demonstrate its main features -- even if some of them are incomplete!. Done is better than perfect :)
- If you are spending too much time on your demo video, remember that the judges are looking for clarity and conciseness when you're showcasing your projects. The video doesn't need to be overly polished: just elaborate on the key features!
- Ensure that you have all the necessary materials ready for submission, including your project files/link, documentation, and the demo video.
- Lastly, stay calm! There is absolutely no reason to be anxious; no matter how well you score, you will walk away from Hack4Earth with over $400 in prizes!
In the end, the goal is to learn, collaborate, and create something impactful for our planet. So, don't stress over perfection. Embrace the spirit of innovation and problem-solving that hackathons are all about! P.S. There will be a grace period after our official deadline for any technical issues that may occur on Devpost. If you face any such issues, please ensure that you have some form of evidence (e.g. a screen recording) that you can send to us so that we are able to consider your submission after the deadline!
